Delivery of Person Centred Care
Ronceray is a small, friendly care home in the Jersey parish of St Martin, providing high quality and personalised residential care for 25 residents with dementia and other mental health needs.
Originally an old farmhouse, the home is surrounded by picturesque countryside and offers a pleasant and more relaxed lifestyle where residents can enjoy a home-from-home atmosphere.
Dignity and respect are at the heart of all care provided by staff who are trained in specialist dementia care, with each resident being treated as an individual and above all, with kindness.
Ronceray’s kitchen has a long established practice of serving appetising, nutritional food for a wide and diverse range of tastes and needs, with specific emphasis on respecting residents’ personal choice. Special diets are also catered for as are foods from around the world.
A tailored activity program is provided for residents and families are encouraged to get involved and enjoy engaging and stimulating activities both within and without the home. Visitors are welcome at all times.

Our Residents
Ronceray aims to provide an extremely high-quality care service for residents with varying degrees of dementia, this care is tailored to meet individual resident’s physical, mental, social, spiritual and emotional needs. Round the clock care is provided by highly trained, dedicated and skilled care staff.
Facilities at Ronceray include; spacious en—suite bedrooms each fitted with telephone points and televisions. All are fully furnished and decorated to the individual resident’s choice.
Three comfortable lounges provide ample room for communal relaxation and a large secure garden provides a beautiful open-air space.
To ensure that we meet our aims of providing a high standard of care we work very closely with other professionals these include; Health and Social services, District Nurses, Physiotherapists, occupational services, Elderly Mental Health team, Social Workers as well as the individual Residents family G.P.
A full activity schedule is formulated each week to include varying activities that encourage independence and promote well—being and good physical and mental stimulation. Outings are arranged regularly on an individual basis and within a group.
Ronceray has a hairdresser that visits each week and a chiropodist visits regularly, we are also able to arrange in house dental check-ups as well as ophthalmic appointments and hearing resource visits
